Issue:

You're running Windows 10 and can't connect to a Netgear ReadyNAS device on the LAN

You can ping the ReadyNAS and you can access it via a web browser in order to manage it.

Possible cause:

You're logged in to Windows 10 using a Microsoft account instead of a Windows Local account

Solution:

Go into Control Panel and open Credentials Manager

Add the device name (e.g. ReadyNAS)

Add the device name and login name (e.g. readynas\user)

Add the password for the ReadyNAS user
